How do I care for my Lava Linens products?
It’s simple! Machine or hand wash in water up to 60 degrees with a gentle spin. Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry.
One of the greatest things about our linen (flax) and hemp textiles is the more you use them, the softer and more supple they become!
Are Lava Linens towels quick to dry?
Yes! Lava towels dry up to 14 times faster than your average bath towel! They also dry twice as fast as microfiber per ounce of water absorbed.
Are Lava Linens towels packable?
Absolutely! When rolled, Lava towels pack all the way down to the size of popularly sized water bottles.
How absorbent are Lava Linens towels?
Very! Lava travel towels absorb up to 50% more water than microfiber towels of the same size!
Should I expect my Lava Linens products to shrink when washed?
Shrinkage will depend largely on how you choose to care for your Lava towels. Washing in cold water and drying at a low temperature will nearly eliminate shrinking entirely. Washing in warmer water and drying on medium heat may shrink your towel 1-2 inches.
