Linen and TENCELTM Lyocell are highly complementary of each other and ideal for eco-conscious adventurers. TENCELTM Lyocell offers instant softness while linen wears in beautifully. Both are known for their high breathability, thermoregulating, antistatic and naturally antimicrobial properties.
Designed for all seasons, this luxuriously large, natural fiber sleeping bag liner is made with breathable, thermoregulating and anti-static flax and TENCELTM Lyocell fibers.
To get the most out of the liner, skip synthetic pajamas which are notorious for their static cling. Instead, sleep in breathable, anti-static natural fiber clothing like hemp, linen and TENCELTM.
Naturally antimicrobial and stain resistant, the Lava Linens liner is an ideal barrier to keep your sleeping bag clean...even if you're not so pristine.
Hypoallergenic, antistatic and without the thousands of chemicals microfiber is composed of, your skin will love the long, smooth gentle fibers.
Linen and TENCELTM Lyocell are very easy to care for. Simply machine wash your Lava Linens sleeping bag liner with like colors, in cold water, no hotter than 60 degrees F.
Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry.
To achieve maximum performance, avoid fabric softeners and dryer sheets as they can affect breathabillity.
Slide in and stay out with friends and family later into the night.
Don't love the texture of airplane seats? Or are your feet always cold? Slip on in and pull the pillow pocket over your head to completely turn off from the outside world.
Protect your skin from the sun, bugs and harsh winds. For sunset lovers, slide on in on chilly evenings and watch the night fall.
An upgrade to the slanket, get cozy on the couch with a good book and a hot drink.
It is literally raining microplastics. One of the main culprits? Synthetic textiles.
"Researchers find that over 1,000 metric tons of microplastics fall on 11 protected areas in the US annually. That’s the equivalent to over 120 million plastic water bottles.”
Matt Simon. “Plastic Rain is the New Acid Rain.” Wired Magazine. June 11, 2020.
The good news is, we can turn this around. Microplastics are tiny fragments from plastic products and plastic fibers shed from our synthetic clothing and gear. By simply opting to use a plant-fiber Lava Linens towel instead of a microfiber towel, you can prevent up to 12 credit cards worth of microplastics from entering our air, water and soil every year.
While microfiber is made from petroleum and contains thousands of chemicals known to harm the environment and human health, linen and lyocell come from easy to grow, climate-friendly plants.
Linen is crafted from regenerative carbon sink flax plants that require zero pesticides and 40x less water than cotton to grow.
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers have gained a commendable reputation for their environmentally responsible closed loop production process, which transforms sustainably sourced wood pulp into cellulosic fibers with high resource efficiency and low environmental impact. This solvent-spinning process recycles process water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99%.
Welcome to the fibers of the future.

Yes. You'll notice an improvement in hand feel and breathability after the first wash. And while the sleeping bag liner starts out soft, you'll notice it will become even softer the more you use it and wash it. Wear it in!
Slightly. The dimensions we list are approximately what you can expect after washing in cold water and drying on low heat.
It does not at this time. Simply add it to your sleeping bag stuff sack or stuff it in a pocket of its own in your pack.
Yes, both linen and TENCEL™ Lyocell have excellent thermoregulating properties. They are known for adding warmth without creating a sweaty environment.
As our company grows and formal independent testing becomes accessible to us, we will provide a specific added warmth temperature range.
And remember, all of our products are backed by our 60-day Happiness Guarantee.
The liner does not have a zipper closure. Instead, it's designed with a wide flap-style opening for easy in and out.
