Our linen and thread are certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO- TEX®

OEKO-TEX® is a global certification system you can trust. Products with the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® label have been independently tested for harmful substances according to strict scientific criteria that go beyond global legal regulations.

Our hemp is organically grown and is Eco-Inspect certified.

What we're working on:

Securing the STANDARD 100 label by OEKO- TEX® for our finished products. Upon completing the independent testing and certification process, we will provide our label number and test institute for transparency and verification purposes.

What we know:

Both linen and hemp are very absorbent, quick to dry and biodegradable.

Through our testing, we’ve found our linen towels absorb up to 50% more water per square inch than microfiber towels.

Linen is an extremely durable material increasing its durability by up to 20% when wet.

What we're working on:

Conducting independent laboratory testing related to the absorbency, dry time and durability of our towels.

We are Climate Neutral certified.

We have measured, reduced, and offset our entire carbon footprint.

Becoming Climate Neutral Certified is one of the many steps in our long sustainability journey.

Our offset portfolio for this year is made up of four projects that are reducing emissions and providing other important co-benefits like establishing new sources of income and conserving biodiversity:

  • Grouped Small Hydro, China (25%) - providing clean energy for China’s remote mountain communities.
  • Forestry Conservation, Zimbabwe (31%) - working to maintain carbon sinks by keeping forests standing while providing alternative sources of income and protecting vulnerable species in Northern Zimbabwe .
  • Renewable Energy, India (25.5%) - providing clean energy through the development of wind turbines in Northern India.
  • Water Filters, Cambodia (18.5%) - reducing emissions and household pollution by installing ceramic water filters instead of using indoor wood burning fires to boil water.

Climate Neutral is a non-profit organization that provides the Climate Neutral Certified label for companies that meet its rigorous standards.
The organization is creating the trusted consumer standard for corporate climate action. Climate Neutral is on a mission to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon world by recruiting companies to publicly measure, reduce, and offset their carbon emissions, driving critical investment into climate solutions.

Climate Neutral provides the Climate Neutral Certified label to communicate to customers and stakeholders that a brand is committed to a set of immediate and long-term actions to halt climate change.

The label also empowers conscious consumerism by telling consumers which brands are taking climate change seriously. The label makes it easier for consumers to know that the brand they are purchasing from has measured, reduced and offset their entire carbon footprint. A growing demand for the label from consumers will drive further demand for meaningful corporate climate action.
